The 2019 AccelerateHER Awards for Scottish-based female entrepreneurs has unveiled UK multinational investment bank and financial services company, Barclays and global IT and business support services provider, CGI as its key sponsors for this year’s programme. Along with their financial support of the awards, both organisations will also be engaged in the judging process and offer other forms of support in kind to this year’s winning entrants.
The award organisers have also announced this will include hosting of this year’s awards on 9 May at the event space within technology incubator Codebase Edinburgh and mentoring sessions from technology industry experts, for the 2019 award winners.
Organised by Investing Women, the 2019 AccelerateHER Awards will also offer winners a free place on a trade mission to Dubai or Berlin to showcase their business, be introduced to key industry contacts and investors, and build their understanding of how best to target these and other global markets. Open to entrepreneurial women who play a leading role in companies with strong global growth potential, the awards programme provides an ideal platform for them to connect with Investing Women’s network of angel investors, commercial advisers and other successful entrepreneurs.
